    C&W 2017 Reviews Overview

    0
By Kristin Ravel, David Coad on June 26, 2017 2017 C&W Reviews

We at the DRC had a wonderful time at the 2017 Computers and Writing Conference and were happy to see all the new and familiar faces at our table and Wiki panel!

In tradition with past Computers and Writing conferences, we put out a call for conference panel reviews and are now excited to offer a small glimpse at the many wonderful presentations the conference offered. Thanks so much to our reviewers and to everyone else who made this year’s Computers and Writing possible.

This year, the University of Findlay hosted the conference, which was held June 1-4, 2017. Focusing on the theme “Techne: Creating Spaces of Wonder,” participants drew on various interpretations of techne and how such interpretations play out in pedagogical practice and in scholarship.

The reviews are quite a mix this year: from the Graduate Research Network preconference to keynotes to workshops—there’s a little bit of everything here. As you read, we encourage you to keep the conversations going by responding in the comments or tweeting us @SweetlandDRC. Also check out the archive of comments on Twitter by searching for #cwcon.

Thanks again to our reviewers! We are excited to see everyone next year.
