DRC Wiki Quest at the 2017 Conference on College Composition and Communication

    0
By Brandee Easter on March 13, 2017 Announcements, DRC Wiki

The DRC will be hosting a Wiki Quest for the DRC Wiki at the 2017 Conference on College Composition and Communication! We’ll be sitting at the Sweetland Digital Rhetoric Collaborative table in the Action Hub (Pre-Function E Area near the Exhibit Hall) throughout the conference.

    How To Play

    1. Stop by our table in the Action Hub to pick up a DRC Wiki Quest game sheet. This handout provides instructions for registering and contributing to the DRC Wiki and helps you keep track of your edits and other “quests.” For every numbered task completed (e.g. “Make your first edit”), you’ll check off that item on the game sheet.
    2. Get busy editing! Take your conference knowledge and add it to the DRC Wiki, checking off quests as you go.
    3. Stop back at our table to with your completed game sheet to win a contributor’s button. The participants with the most quests completed will also win a book!

If you want hands-on experience editing a wiki and the opportunity to win prizes, consider taking part in the DRC Wiki Quest during the conference. We look forward to meeting you at 4C17!
