Codi Renee Blackmon is a scholar, teacher, and activist who works in the related fields of technical, professional, and scientific communication, rhetoric, and writing studies. Before being a lecturer at Johns Hopkins University, she taught academic and technical writing at the University of Tampa and at East Carolina University, where she received the Bertie Fearing Award for Excellence in Teaching by GTAs.
